Father's Day Craft Beerfest at Waterloo Region Museum
Possibly the BEST Father's Day gift EVER!
A special Father's Day Craft Beer Festival will take place on Sunday, June 21 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Doon Heritage Village featuring amazing local craft brewers:
Descendants Beer & Beverage Co.
Innocente Brewing Company
Elora Brewing Company
Block Three Brewing Company
PLUS! Musical entertainment by
'No Discernible Key’, and food trucks Gastro Grub and Ish and Chips.
The event is presented in collaboration with the Downtown Kitchener Ribfest and Craft Beer Show (AKA #KWRibfest).
Admission to the festival is $20 plus HST per person and includes admission to BEER! The Exhibit, five sample beer tokens, and a souvenir glass. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 519-748-1914.
BEER! The Exhibit opens this summer at the Waterloo Region Museum. On exhibit from June 19, 2015 to January 3, 2016, this exciting, new exhibition created by the Waterloo Region Museum will focus on over 175 years of brewing tradition in Waterloo Region and the history of brewing, selling and consuming beer in Canada.
“Learn how beer is made, the impact Prohibition had on the brewing industry, and the evolution of
craft breweries. From public houses to bars, Temperance societies to drinking responsibly –
explore the cultural and social influences of beer,” Tom Reitz, Manager/Curator of the
Waterloo Region Museum.
